11 bit Reveals Secret Game as Anomaly 2

It was on Valentine's Day that 11 bit studios announced that pre-orders were opened for a top secret game. Those who pre-ordered before the reveal were promised 50% off the price. It was an interesting and unusual gamble that some took part in.

Today 11 bit announced what that secret game is: Anomaly 2! This is a sequel to Anomaly: Warzone Earth which was a top down tower offense game. Anomaly 2 follows in its footsteps and hopes to be another entertaining strategy title. New features include a multiplayer mode, expanded single player campaign, and even a handful of possible endings.

The official website has a few more details but no date has been set for Anomaly 2 as of yet. When it launches the game will be playable on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs. Here's the reveal trailer:
