Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is Officially Announced by Ubisoft

Assassins Creed Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag Ubisoft PS3 360 PC Wii U Assassins Creed 4

Although we just got Assassin's Creed III in October of last year, it seems that Ubisoft is pushing out another main entry for the series. Looks like poor Connor won't be getting a multitude of side games like Ezio!

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag appears to be themed around the exuberant era of bloodthirsty pirates. However, all Ubisoft has decided to make known so far is the setting, the title of the game, and the appearance of our protagonist. You can expect more info this upcoming Monday.

The PS3 version will also include "60 minutes of exclusive gameplay."

Are you excited for Assassin's Creed IV? Or are you tuckered out on the series?

It's a cool enough setting, I suppose, but I think reception would be a lot easier if Ubisoft would tone it down with the yearly releases.
I haven't finished AC3 yet, though I am intrigued by the pirate era setting, so I'll have to check out AC4. Probably once 4 comes out I'll go back and make myself play through AC3 and then check out Black Flag.
This game will teach us not to pirate games and this game should be more intesne. Hopefully they go to a rated Arrrgh! rating. Lame puns lol.
I want my China based AC. >:|

And I certainly wouldn't mind one set in Feudal Japan.

Still, I like pirates, so I'm interested.
The ship battles are the best part of ACIII. The rest of the game is good, but a little bit of a letdown. I'm not a fan of yearly releases either, but if the game is solid then I'll definitely consider a purchase.
Yeah it feels too soon to release AC4. They're beginning to be like the COD of that genre.
