Latest Indie Gala Includes Lots of Non-Indies
Jun 25 2012 10:20 AM | Marcus Estrada in Industry News
It was only a matter of time until these indie bundles ran out of indie games, right? Not at all! There's a nearly infinite amount of indie games out there waiting to meet a massive audience. Either way, Indie Gala has once again filled up a bundle with a large amount of non-indie titles. Well, it's still a bunch of games for a good price so maybe it shouldn't be knocked too much.As usual, you can pay any price for the bundle. If you spend less than the average price then you'll be getting three games: Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty, Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, and The Void. If you think that's a fair amount of Commandos games then wait until you see what you get with paying over the average.
Indie Gala's average price is $5.99 so if you spend more than that you get five more games. Here's the titles:
- Air Conflicts: Secret Wars
- Cargo: The Quest for Gravity
- Commandos 2: Men of Courage
- Commandos 3: Destination Berlin
- Ion Assault
When buying the Indie Gala bundle you may choose to support the developers, Gala group, as well as Able Gamers and the Italian Red Cross to help with Emilia's earthquake relief. As always, you choose how much you wish to divide up your payment between the various groups.

Oh well, at least they aren't trying to stick people with Bad Rats this time.
I've never played The Void but Cargo is quite a bit of fun. It's way weird, but in a good way. Though many of you will probably detest it, I must also recommend Air Conflicts. It's dumb, bloody fun wrapped up in an arcade-flight game. Strafing German infantry and tank columns never gets old! The Commando games are also great titles in their own right, though the difficulty can verge on aggravating at times. I'd recommend shelling out the $6.26 or whatever to pick up this solid-as-poop bundle.
