Activision Bringing Wreck-It Ralph To Nintendo Platforms This Fall

While movie-goers will be waiting to see Disney's Wreck-It Ralph this Fall, gamers will be able to play through the videogame based on the movie around the same time.

In an interesting move, Activision will be bringing the game exclusively to Nintendo's platforms (Wii, 3DS, and DS), and it will be an arcade-style side that features the different games in the movie's universe, including: Sugar Rush, Hero's Duty, and Fix-It Felix, Jr.

You'll control both Wreck-It Ralph and Fix-It Felix throughout the game, either wrecking things with the former or fixing things with the latter. In addition, the Wii version will feature a two-player co-op mode that will allow you to swtich between the characters in order to obtain Hero Medals.

There's no reason given as to why the game is only coming to Nintendo platforms, but given that Bowser has a cameo in the movie, it seems likely that licensing issues would prevent him from appearing on other consoles.

Though no official release date has been given, Wreck-It Ralph will be out this Fall around the same time the movie releases in theaters.
