It seems that Crytek itself doesn't have any projects in the works for the Wii U currently, but CEO Cevat Yerli mentions that it's simply because they don't have a "business case" that justifies developing a game for the system at the moment. However, Cevat revealed that there is a game in development for Wii U from a respected developer that licensed CryEngine 3, and that they'll be able to reveal more about it soon and that "it looks really great."
And despite not developing for the console right now, he also has no qualms about the console's capabilities, saying that it's "minimum as powerful as Xbox 360," and that CryEngine 3 "runs beautifully."
Hopefully we'll be hearing just what this mystery CryEngine 3 title is soon since many gamers are still waiting for a proof-of-concept game in regards to how extensive the console's graphical capabilities are. Could this be the first game to really show off the Wii U's horsepower? Only time will tell.
