Game developer Rovio is known for its super-popular Angry Birds franchise, and now it looks like they've finally decided to work on something else. Rovio's newest project is called Amazing Alex, and is a game where you arrange objects to build your very own Rube Goldberg devices through a total of 100 levels. The game's levels will each have several different solutions, and once you pass a level, you can share the contraptions you create with others, and vice versa. And aside from the levels given, Amazing Alex will also provide players with a level editor, where they have 35 objects to use for creating new levels. And yes, you can share those with friends too.
“From cleaning up his room to playing in his backyard, Alex creates amazing chain reactions to get the job done with the maximum amount of fun,” said Rovio about the game. “Set the objects up to bounce, pop, ricochet, bash, and crash into each other and create an elaborate Rube Goldberg device! With a houseful of toys to play with, there’s more than one right answer!”
Amazing Alex is slated to release this July, and will be available for both iOS and Android platforms. So if this game sounds interesting to you, be sure to check it out.
