SEGA Goes Small With Sonic The Hedgehog Advertising

When commercials are too expensive, why not rent a billboard? An image posted on SEGA's official twitter account appears to show that they're really taking local advertising seriously by putting up a huge billboard ad for Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 in San Francisco.While I'm sure the advertisement couldn't have been cheap, are they really reaching a wide enough audience by putting a billboard up in one place? I know E3 has a tendency to put up giant game ads around the surrounding buildings, but that is entirely for the show. Who knows, maybe we'll see Sonic ads popping up all over the nation soon in some whacky new ad campaign.
