Choose from Two Different Special Editions for The Last of Us

Looks like upcoming Naughty Dog game, The Last of Us, is not getting just one special edition, but two! Let's see what's included in these two different packages.

The Survival Edition, which will retail for $80, comes with the following:

Steelbook edition of the game
170+ page hardcover artbook by Dark Horse
Issue #1 of The Last of Us - American Dreams comic
Sights & Sounds DLC Pack (game soundtrack, PS3 dynamic theme, PSN avatars: Winter Joel & Ellie)
Naughty Dog sticker sheet

The Art of The Last of Us will also have a standalone release that will retail for $40.

The Post-Pandemic Edition, which will retail for $160 and is GameStop-exclusive, comes with the following:

Steelbook edition of the game
12" statue of Joel and Ellie
Issue #1 of The Last of Us - American Dreams comic
Sights & Sounds DLC Pack (game soundtrack, PS3 dynamic theme, PSN avatars: Winter Joel & Ellie)
Survival DLC Pack (multiplayer bonuses: bonus XP, melee booster, in-game currency, customizable character items), bonus Joel and Ellie skins)

I'll take the post-pandemic edition with the cool statue over the art book. I love my statues and steel book cases.

Those are all nice and shiny and everything, but despite the fact that I really, really want the game, I'm not going to have the money to drop on a special edition, so I'll just get the regular version instead.

I really really really want to get it as well, but $160 for it is going to gnaw at my soul forever. Still, I can see this not dropping in price / going up in price since it's Gamestop exclusive (Much like Walking Dead LE, Dead or Alive 5)

Honestly, I like both but I don't see myself buying either. I think the price for the Post-Pandemic is a bit steep.

I haven't decided which one I'm getting yet. For $160 I think the Post-Pandemic edition should include the art book as well. I'm not sure I feel the statue and some DLC is worth twice as much as the Survival Edition, had it included the book as well I'd have it pre-ordered already.

Honestly, I like both but I don't see myself buying either. I think the price for the Post-Pandemic is a bit steep.

I think the 80 dollar one will price drop eventually like the Uncharted 3 CE did.

I would really want to get the Post Pandemic Edition though but it's a bit too steep for me so I'd settle for the Survival Edition and that nice looking artbook.
