Journey Collector's Edition Details Out

Only last week gaming sites had found something called "Journey Collector's Edition" listed on a few sites. Then, over the weekend an ad in the Official PlayStation Magazine basically sealed the deal showcasing the title (as well as some bonuses). Today though thatgamecompany themselves made the official announcement on their site.

As everyone expected, it includes not only Journey but also flOw and Flower. It has only been announced for North America so far and will be launching for $30 on August 28th. It'll only be available on PS3. Journey Collector's Edition isn't simply three game bundled together though. It's got a bunch of extra content too.

Here's the extras included set to entice both new players and old thatgamecompany fans:
  • Three exclusive mini-games
  • Reversible cover art
  • Journey 30-minute documentary
  • Developer diary videos and trailers
  • Creator commentary for each game
  • Concept art galleries for each game
  • Original soundtracks for each game
  • PS3 dynamic themes/wallpapers
  • PSN avatars - 8 are exclusive Journey avatars
Although the goods themselves might be digital this is still the first physically released title for thatgamecompany. In case you'd like to see more then check out their official trailer for the collection:

I am so excited for this and definitely getting it when it comes out, and so should all of you! (*AHEM*) :D
I already have flOw and Flower but I might pick this up anyways.
This is what I've been waiting for bwahahaha and why I've not yet bought a digital download of Journey
PLUS I don't have flOw or Flower yet
YAY
I already have flOw but don't have either of the other two (and I've heard they're VERY good), so I think I'll pick this up either near release or when the price drops a tad. :D

I always enjoy a good making-of documentary sort of thing too, so that's nice that they have one of those in it.
