Sony inFAMOUS HD collection PS3 Ratchet & Clank God of War

Last week there were rumors about a new God of War compilation being listed in a retailer's database. On the official PlayStation Blog it was just announced that, yes, there is a new GoW collection coming out. However, what no one knew is that it wasn't the only one they were planning.

Sony fans already knew that a Ratchet & Clank Collection was official, but now we are finally able to see God of War Saga Collection as well as inFAMOUS Collection confirmed for release. These sets will all be out on August 28th in store and on the PS Store. They will all cost $30 which, as you will see, is actually quite a deal for some of these packs.

The Ratchet & Clank Collection features Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal in 1080p. So, it's basically the latest HD collection out there. The inFAMOUS Collection includes inFAMOUS, inFAMOUS 2, and inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood alongside some additional missions and costumes.

The biggest pack of them all though is the God of War Saga Collection. This one deserves a list to show off all the included content:

God of War
God of War II
God of War III
God of War: Origins Collection (which includes God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta)
Exclusive Bonus Content
Voucher For 1 Trial Month of PlayStation Plus
Remastered for HD, DUALSHOCK Control, Full PlayStation Network Trophy Support and 3D (3D supported only in God of War III and God of War: Origins Collection)

I might pick-up God of War Saga, but I'm not happy that some of the games aren't on a disc.

The God Of War Saga is a great deal but since I already own all of them I guess I'll wait to see what the exclusive bonus content is.

I'm not really interested in God of War but that is an incredible value, wow. Will be looking forward to the Ratchet and Clank Collection though.

Blehhh I bought the God of War collection a while back for PS3... Which only includes 1 and 2.
It's probably a better deal now to get this one for 3 and for Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta? Instead of buying 3 separately and Origins Collection separately?

Looks like this is a great deal if you haven't played any of the games in the collections, otherwise maybe not. I personally haven't played any God of War games and only one Ratchet and Clank game, so I may just pick either one or both of those collections up in the future.

The $30 price point is very nice too! I know God of War 3 is still in the $15-$30 range depending on where you buy it at, and the Origins Collection isn't far behind.

I've read that the inFamous and God of War collection are going to retail for $39.99.

Oh wow, the God of War Collection is nice... I'm seriously considering picking it up! I've never played one before, but have been interested. Thanks for the info!

Leah: Yeah, I think this would be a better price point overall to get the games you're missing. I bought both GoW3 and Origins Collections already though (and own just plain 1 & 2) so probably won't grab this collection at all.

BelmontHeir: It's possible that maybe retailers will inflate the cost, but at least right now, the official word from Sony is each of these is $30. The GoW one certainly looks like it could readily have a higher asking price though.
