Official Assassin's Creed III Reveal Trailer On Display

Poor game companies seem unable to keep secrets these days. Last week, a single image of Assassin's Creed III was revealed to Kotaku and from there Ubisoft gave in. Since then things like a Game Informer article and screenshots have made their way around the web. The game went from secret to something everyone knew about in a matter of hours.

A little under a week later we're now being treated to a reveal trailer:

It starts us off in Mohawk Valley in 1777, where assassin Connor is hard at work murdering some redcoats. In case you were still somehow unaware, Connor is half Mohawk native and English. Beyond the murdering action we also get a look at some wolves, as apparently animals will play a part in the game as well. It will be a bit like Red Dead Redemption in that regard. If you think the trailer looks especially graphically impressive that may be due to the new engine behind it - Ubisoft-AnvilNext.

Finally we get a look at the release date! If all goes well Assassin's Creed III will release on October 31st, 2012. The game will release for the typical PS3, 360, and PC but also the Wii U.

Hell Yeah! This game is gonna be great.
Sometimes information leaks actually come from the company itself. A "leaked" piece of news gets more attention than official news. I think that's probably the case here with AC 3.
Looks like more of the same AC just in a different setting, so I suppose if you aren't tired of that gameplay it should be fun. If they do add more depth to it, than that would be nice as well. But those that are, as many of you voiced may just end up passing over this one.
