Resident Evil 6's release date has been pushed up to the 2nd of October, according to a recently leaked trailer of the game, so Resident Evil fans, get ready to fight the C Virus then.In the trailer, some footage is shown of some of the characters in Resident Evil 6, including Resident Evil 2's Sherry, all grown up, and more expected characters like Chris and Leon.
The son of series villain Albert Wesker is seen, and some nefariousness involving him is implied. Also, in the truest act of villainy, a flatscreen, HD television is used to view a VHS. This may have some of the most morally stressful scenes of any Resident Evil game yet.
There's also talk of the C Virus, characters faking their deaths, and maybe some unexpected standoffs between heroes, but it would be better to just see for yourself here.
The important take-away is that the trailer lists Resident Evil 6's release date as the 2nd of October instead of the 20th of November, which is pretty sweet.
On that date, it'll be playable (assuming no delays for any platform) on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
