Pokemon Rumble World was the second of Nintendo's free-to-play titles that came to 3DS earlier this year (the first being Pokemon Shuffle), and now it appears that the big N is ready to bring it to retail.
This entry is the same version as the free to play version except this one comes with 3,000 PokéDiamonds, which eliminates the microtransactions part of the free-to-play version.
It's unclear why Rumble World is getting the retail treatment now, but it seems likely that Nintendo believes they can make more money this way than relying on people to buy PokéDiamonds individually in the F2P version. In any case, we'll have to wait and see if Pokemon Shuffle gets the same treatment.
No word yet on a North American release, however. Pokemon Rumble World's retail release is strictly a Japanese affair for now.
