Some of the biggest news during the World of Capcom panel at PAX East was that of a new DuckTales game. As such, even other interesting announcements were overshadowed, like the reveal of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. So, what exactly is this game about?
Chronicles of Mystara is a set of two games: Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara. These classic arcade titles have been upgraded with HD visuals and a few other things to make them worth a purchase, such as unlockable goods. Of course, online play has been added for up to four players, as the games originally supported.
The collection will be out in June for 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC for $15. The Wii U version in particular has the GamePad used to easily select items and spells during frantic battles. Dungeons & Dragons fans can take a look at the trailer right here:
