Indie sensation Megabyte Punch may not have been on your radar but it probably should be! The game takes customization robots and mixes them into a beat 'em up. In either single player or multiplayer you can enjoy piloting your mech and tailoring it outside of battle with a multitude of parts.
The game has been available in beta for a while now but today developer Reptile Games announced the wait is finally (almost) over. Megabyte Punch will blast out of beta on August 6th for Windows, Mac, and Linux. If you want to see the game on Steam then drop it a vote on Greenlight. During launch week the game is also set to have a discounted price.
Standard downloads of the title will cost $11.99 instead of $14.99. Then there is the Megabyte Punch Special Edition which regularly costs $19.99 and comes with a 27 song soundtrack, wallpapers, and 10 extra levels. New players can pick that one up for $15.99 during the first week discount. However, if you bought the alpha or beta versions then listen up. You'll be upgraded to the Special Edition for free!
