Whether or not Steam Greenlight "works" as intended is up for debate, but one thing's for certain, it does expose many PC gamers to a wealth of new and upcoming indie games. Those who may have only known of one or two indie games before are now seeing there are a great deal of good titles available.
Of course, trying to wade through the thousands of titles listed on Greenlight is a bit of a chore if you don't routinely check it. Those who are interested in watching a handful of these indie titles being played are in luck as a 13+ hour livestream is happening this weekend which is known as The Greenlight SuperShow.
The event will have interviews and contests and show off more than 25 games. During breaks, they will show games that have been Greenlit as well, such as McPixel. Mostly though they are showcasing games sitting on Greenlight that have yet to get enough attention. It begins this Saturday (June 29th) at 10:30 AM EST/7:30 AM PST on Twitch.
