There are times when playing a game that you just might prefer to listen one of your favorite jams instead of the soundtrack within the game. You want something that getting the blood pumping when you take on opponents in one of many FPS titles. Or perhaps, you just want to cruise along in a racing game with some good old Johnny Cash.
Sony had announced earlier that their Music Unlimited service would be coming to end on March 29 and that they had a new and exclusive partnership with Spotify. Spotify, for those who haven't ever used it, allows you to create and listen to over 30 million songs while you play your favorite games.
While Spotify basically works just like Music Unlimited, one notable difference is the ability to use it without paying the monthly fee. But if you want to listen to your playlists without ad interruptions, the Premium upgrade is only $9.99 a month.
Subscribers of Music Unlimited get a free two-month trail while others can get a free month of Spotify Premium.
