Way back in August was when the hubbub for Sony's The Tester show was at its peak. At that point the casting call for hopeful applicants was in full swing and many entered. Months later, the cast was announced and the show is finally ready to premiere.
Twelve gamers are in the running, not to become a "tester" as the name suggests, but to win a much heftier prize. The winner of season 3 will take a seat as a Production Associate for developer Santa Monica Studio. Beyond that interesting role, the winner will also be awarded a $5,000 signing bonus, 2012 Ford Titanium, 55" Sony Bravia 3D TV, and PS3. Even if the job is only temporary for the winner it looks like there's a pretty good selection of other goodies to grab.
If you'd like to watch The Tester there's a few ways to do so. Because it is such a game-centric show, the episodes are always added on the PlayStation Store when it updates on Tuesdays. If you still want to watch on your PS3 but in a different way then you can also jump into PS Home and watch there. Episodes will also spring up on Crackle, which is another Sony property. Finally, episodes will also come to The Tester website.
