The Majority Of Magic 2015 Players Exhibit Poor Sportsmanship

Magic, Magic2015, iOS, iPad

The Majority Of Magic 2015 Players Exhibit Poor Sportsmanship While I do enjoy playing Magic The Gathering on my iPad and PS3, it seems good sportsmanship exhibited by other players rarely exists. I'd estimate that in 80-90% of the multiplayer games I'm in where it's obvious I will win the match, the other player will exit the game which causes a slow down waiting for the computer to take over for them.

I'm not s...

This started out as a couple of dumb one-off jokes I made earlier today, but then I realized...why not go further with it? Why not make it a number of dumb jokes?

Why not indeed.

So, in today's post, I'll be talking about some upcoming video games that are taking way too long to come out. But not just that - I'll also be revising their names to more ac...

Judgment on The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Meet Kimmy Schmidt.

Kimmy, portrayed by Ellie Kemper of The Office and Bridesmaids fame, is out of touch with the modern world. She is labeled as one of the 'Indiana Mole Women,' a group of women lured or kidnapped by a doomsday preacher and kept in a bunker for upwards of 15 years. Sounds dire, right? It's not.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is a comedy,...

Mini Steam Game Reviews 2: 50% Off Reviews!

So, a while back, I (and some others) wrote up some mini reviews for various Steam games, and the entries were such a rousing success [citation needed] that I decided to write a second one! So if you're in the market for some miniature Steam reviews without actually reading user reviews on Steam (and no one would blame you) come on in and have a quick loo...

Judgment on Crimes and Punishments: Sherlock Holmes

Judgment on Crimes and Punishments: Sherlock Holmes The announcement that Crimes and Punishments: Sherlock Holmes would be part of this month's Playstation Plus Instant Collection was wonderful, despite my skepticism. I'm a pretty big fan of Sherlock Holmes, but had very little hope for Crimes and Punishments because I held doubts about the translation of such an iconic literary figure to interactive me...

Quick Review: Dreamgear Dualshock 4 Charge Cord The PlayStation 4 launched in November 2013 and Sony has yet to provide a lengthened charging cord option for PS4 owners. With the Dualshock 4's seemingly shorter battery life (due mainly to the light bar on top of the controller) gamers are looking for charging solutions.

Many of the third party options offered via Amazon have poorly fitting plugs, brea...

It was that night that still haunts to this day. I remember it clearly. I remember her face, her voice, her touch, her eyes, and her presence. Resident Evil 2 and My Brush with Death Twas a dark cold evening March 6th, 1998. I had just turned 11 years old, cake had been eaten and gifts were being opened. My dad had surprised me with a rescued Rottweiler Doberman mix earlier in the week, which had to weigh at least 130 pounds. This birthday could not get any better. That is until I saw that my parents had ignored the large RATED M sti...

Destiny: Is it Worth Your Money? Bungie's hotly anticipated Destiny reached retail shelves at the beginning of September, the fulfillment of a $500,000,000 adventure to home consoles. Guardians logged more than a hundred million hours in the first week after release, but the numbers only tell a fraction of the story. Destiny serves as Bungie's first chapter in the studio's life after H...

Complexity, Barriers to Entry, and Sports: A Possible Explanation of Casual Games

I was looking through the comments section of an article on Kotaku a few days ago. I forget what exactly the article was about, beyond the fact that it was related to E3. There was a quick series of comments in regards to "casual" gamers and whether or not shooters had ever been games for "casual" gamers to use to introduce themselves to games with, and w...
