Meet the Podunkers is a new blog series I“ve started intended to feature members of the community, a sort of gamer spotlight if you will. I will try and have a new interview posted weekly, until I run out of willing members to feature!

Today“s interviewee is GamePodunk's foremost expert on Visual Novels, Leah!

What's the first game you've ever played?

I don't remember the EXACT one, but... My earliest memories include Duck Hunt, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Street Fighter II.

Describe your current gaming setup.

On my desk, I have my PC of course. Then I have a TV with my PS2 and N64 currently plugged in. Dreamcast, Gamecube, and SNES are sitting unplugged. At the big TV in the living room, I have a Wii, Wii U, another PS2, PS3, 360, and another Gamecube.

Name the one game that changed your life, that is, what's the one game that made you into the gamer you are today?

Umm I honestly have no idea. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, maybe?

What is your all-time favourite game EVER?

THERE'S NO WAY I'D BE ABLE TO NARROW IT DOWN TO JUST ONE. My top games include The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy X, Persona 4, and Okami. I guess that's more like a top five, huh... Oops.

How about your favourite character?

Naoto Shirogane, duh.

So I hear you and Marcus have a gaming related backstory on how you met, care to share?

HOO BOY. Well, it all started when I finished Final Fantasy X and updated my Backloggery to show it as beat. Marcus saw it on the front page and commented me like "YOU BEAT FFX???!?!? THAT'S COOL YO." And so from there on, we started talking to each other. As to when we first met in person, fast-forward a bit later... There was a Kojima signing in L.A. and we both decided to meet each other there. And then after that, I started going to his house regularly the end yaaay.

You're a big fan of visual novels and games with anime style visuals, yet you aren't into anime, any reason behind that?

I actually don't really have a good reason, haha. Anyway. I don't really watch many shows, period. It's because of the big commitment to watching every episode, and I simply don't have the time for that. If an anime REALLY catches my interest, though, I'll try to watch it.

What's your story? How'd you end up on Game Podunk?

Marcus told me about it. And then I joined. COOL HUH?

If you could create your own Visual Novel what would it be about?

It would be one where you're able to romance my waifus and husbandos. I don't know the plot yet.

Which 3 people, dead or alive, would you want to play it with?

Suda51, Shinya Arino, and Shigeru Miyamoto.

It's the zombie apocalypse, which person, weapon and music would you have during your final stand?

Batman, beam katana,

Anything else you'd like to add?

Thank you for the interview and I'm looking forward to the rest of these ♥

Thank you for your time Leah!

What are your thoughts on Visual Novels? Have you ever played one?

D'Aww and that's how you met Marcus and joined GP. (´ ▽`).。ï½â™¡

Pretty simple and fun interview, Leah. You should watch moar anime! xD

Anyways I never played a visual novel, but Katawa Shoujo was recommended to me check out. I had it in my old laptop and played a little bit of it, but someone saw me playing it with a weird face thinking I was playing a hentai game. I stopped after that. Lol. So what's a really good recommended visual novel I should check out and not play around people?

For some reason this line creeps me out "And then after that, I started going to his house regularly" lol but I assure everyone it is far less creepy in reality.

That story with Marcus sounds... romantic? No but seriously whats more romantic then finding someone you share interest with and sharing them?

Who is your waifus?

Nice interview Lud maybe next one you could act like a snarky reporter trying to grill his guest xD Ask them hard hitting questions like "Waffles or Pancakes?" and if they answer wrong roast them.
