World Travel - Hong Kong Part 2 - Stanley (Pictures)

A few days later we went to Stanley, a oceanside town that's on the outlying peninsula of Hong Kong island. It is separated from the city of Hong Kong by a line of mountains that run along the center of the island. It's also one of the biggest tourists hot spots in Hong Kong and seeing as I had a Hong Kong first timer in tow I thought it'd be nice to give Stanley a visit.

That's all for this post! I know it was a bit shorter but I didn't want to put two stops into one post. Next up Macau!

Dat Lag lol.

Seems like you and Roy had a blast on your trip it looks like you got to see a lot of regular stuff while you where there. You know not just the big attractions which are nice too but I think the mundane stuff that the locals get to see everyday is under appreciated when you go traveling.

The food must have been great too. Did you guys take any more pictures of that besides the one you posted on tweeter? I would love to see it. If you didn't already posted on the last blog but I was getting a lot of "posted images" so maybe you did and I just couldn't see it.

Well, this kind of was a big attraction lol

Though Hong Kong is very familiar to me since I've been there so often, so I know the city pretty well as roy can attest. ;)

Food was good, and yes there are pictures though I was thinking of saving those for one big food post lol

Aw, I'm getting kind of nostalgic looking at some of these pics (particularly some temples and Stanley). Even if... it doesn't look like you didn't go to too many places in Hong Kong */Hong Kong snob*.

But yeah, I always dig scenic pics, and I'll definitely want to see more of Macau since I sort of cruised through there on my trip (and just went to the temples...).

Real talk: How many egg tarts did you eat on your trip?

I didn't see any landmarks or big attractions only streets and little things down by the street/ a boat. Then again I guess I can't really even see most of the pictures xD

Wish I could see them all but glad you and Roy had a good time.

It doesn't look like we went to too many places because this is only the second post lol

I still have another 2 and a half weeks worth of Hong Kong to post D:

Egg Tarts are pretttty bangin, but in actuality, probably only like a dozen or so.
