Computer Gaming Set Up ........ In Progress

We're in the process of redoing the upstairs of our house and one priority of mine is getting the computer gaming setup in order. I have most of it setup at this point other than a few minor additions.

My next step will be picking up some longer cables so I can get the router, cable modem and DirecTV hookups way out of the way. I'm also going to hookup my Harmon Kardon speaker to the setup soon.

Right now it's the iMac, LG TV and laptop hooked up. I switch the settings over to two screens for photo editing etc. I'll update the blog as I am able to improve the situation. I can't change the layout much until I get longer cables for some of the devices.

The only device that will be added in the future is possibly a PS4. I'll likely keep the PS3 hooked up in the family room area for quite a long time.

Suggestions HIGHLY appreciated! :)

I'd add those Crosley speakers cost me $25 at Big Lots (lol) but have pretty decent sound. In addition to being wired in computer speakers, I sometimes listen to FM radio or connect a Bluetooth device to them.

I do have an iPad as a vertical screen sometimes. lol. I really want to get a gaming PC built one of these days but the laptop does the trick with the PC games I have for now.  I kind of want to mount the TV on the wall eventually to get some more desk space.  It's a 36" so not too fancy. :)

Looks quite nice, I also enjoy seeing other people's set ups. Perhaps I'll snap a few of my own for you to compare / draw ideas?

Good idea.  I definitely need to draw on some ideas.  I just kind of threw together the setup for now.

Quite fascinating Kezins! Really like the look and perfect set up for a Man Cave or Kezins Enterprises lol. I only have a laptop so this blog gives me a good idea what to set up for in the future. :D

Lol. Some of this stuff came from the man cave. I'm moving most of the gaming upstairs. Waiting til Friday so I can order longer cables. I did add the original Xbox to this setup but that's all so far. :)

Nice! Looking forward to seeing more. Also wonder how big your room is with all these set ups. It feels great to have space to add in anything. Now you can procrastinate everything with watching DirecTV, play games, surf GP, etc. Woah Kezins! Also just thought of something. How about having a photography studio included. xD

Pretty big space. The upstairs in the house is right around 1600 square feet but that includes 3 bedrooms. I'll have to measure the main room one day. Fortunately I bought the house a couple years ago when the housing market was down and prices were cheap. Lol. The way the house is setup, the living room, dining room and our computer area is basically in one large room. One of the main reasons I'm bringing my stuff upstairs is to clear out room in the basement for photography in the future. :)
