.Hack G.U and Mech Grunty

Does anything good come out in the end if i keep giving chim sphere's to the Mecha Grunty? just asking because im about 15 hours into the game (about to do the semi final's match against Team Kuhn in the tournament) and everytime i see him i keep giving him sphere's. other then the items that drop when he flies off, does anything else happen later on?

Well, it's been a very long time since I played (and I still have to play volume 3, got stuck on part 2 wrap-up stuff), but I think the main purpose of him would be Ryu Book related, but I most certainly could be wrong, as I haven't even touched Redemption.

I think you get something from the scientist when you give the Mech Grunty all the spheres he needs. I do know you get items for feeding him 5 and 20 times.

thats cool, Ill just keep giving him chim sphere's then lol, im currently about an hour and some odd mins into Vol. 2 (just beat vol. 1 last night ^_^) and I love this series! im also currently borrowing the original 4 .hack games from a friend, but am stuck on the first one and dont know what to do -_- and the strat guides are hard to find lol, i wish there was a store like GQD but for OOP strat guides. (i know, i know i could just use the internet, but i personally just like having a strat guide in my hands instead of using the internet)

What's the hang-up in Infection that you're having? I might remember the general idea of what you need to do, Lord knows I put enough hours into the first four games.

Actually, I still have the guide for the first .Hack game. I'd have to fix it since I haven't looked at it since I played the game years ago.

Are the GU games worth playing ;p? I just finished the first set and was wondering if I should bother collecting the second or not

oh yes, the G.U series is amazing...played it before the first set and honestly I think I spoiled myself on that lol the first 4 are good, but i love the G.U series more.

also, I think the last thing I did was the quest with the girl that was rude to you at the begenning of the game, after that when I go back to town I dont remember where to go and I cant figure it out for some reason (knowing me, its probably something really simple and I just dont see it lol)

lol yeah, i got all 3 from amazon, they had (at the time, i think they got more in now) vol. 2 and 3 from then (19.99 and 29.99 each) then got vol. 1 from a third party seller (noram international aka pieceofmindbooks) for $49.75 (they currently have it for 42.63 now though) and I love the series. still want to get the strat guide to part 1 to see what all i missed out on (wish they had one for part 2 and 3 -_-)
