Give Me My Console Contest



It's Time to vote for the console you want! If your console wins, then you could be the one to take it! So let's start the race! Grab your friends and tell them to join the fun!

Important: Please Read the Entire Post to understand the contest and its requirements.

Contest Explanation

• Vote for a console you would want to win on this poll.
• On April 19th, the poll will close and the console with the highest votes will become the prize!
• One person among those who voted for the winning console will be randomly selected to win!
• For example, if XBOX 360 is the console with the most votes, and 100 people voted for that console- 1 out of the 100 participants will win the XBOX 360.

Contest Time Span:

Contest starts Dec. 16th and ends April 19th!

Eligibility/ How to Win:

• Be a Member of Game Podunk. (To Register, Click Here!)
• Be at least 14 years old or older.
• Vote for a console that you want to Win. (One vote per person.)
• Open to all countries now and not just United States.
• Have at least 25% or higher in Activity

What's My Activity Percent?

Activity Percentage measures your level of activity and interaction in the Podunk Forum. To see your activity percentage, simply go here: Activity, find your username and you should see your activity percentage. Activity percentage is fairly easy to raise and maintain. Here are some ways to raise your activity percentage:

• Write a post or start a new thread on Game Podunk.
• Write a blog entry.
• Post images to the gallery.
• Write a visitor message on another Podunker's profile.
• Create Social Groups or post messages in social groups.
• Get friends to join Game Podunk through you (aka referrals).

Why Use the Activity Percent?

Game Podunk wants to reward those who have been truly active in our community, by raising the standards of eligibility for big console contests such as this one. The sponsors and I felt it'll be unfair to our current community to let lurkers to win great prizes without much contribution to the site.

Selection of Winners:

1 (one) winner will be chosen on April 20th and announced when confirmation is received. Winner will be contacted by Private Messaging and have 48 hours to respond to the prize or another winner will be selected. Once the winner is notified and the prize is accepted, it will ship out within 5-6 weeks.

Important: Participants with less than 25% of activity will not be counted for the total votes and for the selection of winners. (Activity Percentages of all participants are noted on April 19th- 11:59 PM PST). For example, if the PS3 had 100 votes and 20 of the participants had less than 25% of activity by the end of April 19th, then the PS3 actually has only 80 votes. This may change the outcome of what console becomes the prize in the very end.

Number of Winners & Prize:

There will be 1 (ONE) Winner for the Give Me My Console Contest!
The prize will be the console with the highest number of votes!
(Console's model or memory capacity may vary and model will be based on what's provided by the Sponsor.)

My activity percent is currently 15. I think I can raise it in few weeks though. Can I enter now or do I have to wait till it's at 25%. Also, doesn't activity percent go down if you stop being active? So let's say when you first enter you're above 25% but by the time of the draw, you're below it. Does that mean you no longer qualify for the contest? Help from mods or Dark please. Thanks! * EMO SMILE *

You can vote now, even if your activity percentage is not at 25%. As long as by April 19th, you've maintained an activity level of 25% or higher, your vote will be counted as valid.

On the other hand, if (for example) you're at 30% now and at the end, you've dropped to 23%, your vote will not be valid.

Activity percent does go down if you stop being active. Generally, if you keep posting and staying active on the forums you should be perfectly fine.

An activity level of 25% is pretty easy to achieve.
