Ever since I played Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga back in the GBA era, I've always had a thing for the Mario & Luigi series. The art style, the battle system, the charm; everything about the games made me super-excited whenever a new one is announced. And now that Nintendo has finally announced a 3DS installment - Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, I can't help but get, well, super-excited. If you haven't seen it, check out the trailer:

But how about you guys? Are you as excited as I am about this new Mario & Luigi game? Of the ones already released, which is your favorite? Me, I rather like Bowser's Inside Story. But maybe that's because I got to be freaking Bowser :P

I like the series quite a bit, but I actually didn't care for Superstar Saga as much as everyone else. Partners in Time was a bit better, I thought, and Bowser's Inside Story is definitely the best one in my opinion (especially the parts with Mega Bowser).

It's cool that Dream Team will finally bring the series into a 3D polygonal format, so I'm excited to see how that works out. Summer can't come soon enough! :D

I thought Bowser's Inside Story was fairly good, I was eh on Partners in Time and SuperStar was fun for the time. Anyway, I don't know why but nothing about this game seems particularly exciting to me, since it looks like the are recycling concepts without adding many interesting ones(obviously, hasty judgement off a 1 min video)..... and it might be just the video, but it really looks like they cut down on the Nintendo budget in comparison to other 1st party 3DS games, which kind of saddens me if this reflects in the final game.

Wait... Recycled concepts? I can't say I see this the same way. And why do you think they cut down on the budget? As far as Mario & Luigi games go, this game looks really good.

So how many of you plan on getting Mario & Luigi: Dream Team when it comes out? I know I am.

Not sure, really. Bacon loves the series, but hasn't even touched Bowser's Inside Story yet. I'm kinda iffy on the games myself, though it's probably something I'd love. xD Might get it for the other half as a gift or something. :)

Make him! That game's the best in the series so far. As for you, get on that! It's a great RPG series, especially for people who like Mario. If you've played Paper Mario or Super Mario RPG, you'd like Mario & Luigi. Especially if you like hilarious dialogue

That's a shame. I know I've said it before, but you're missing out on a lot of great games. Like Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, probably.
