    Developers returning WiiU dev kits.

Ouch that's not good news. A new Smash Bros. game would probably help as that brings out a lot of hype, even from non-nintendo fans.
  3. Hi there! Wow so where do I begin? First off... I thought I had already made an introduction post when I first joined last year, so I'm sorry for not doing so beforehand! Anyways to start-off I guess I don't have to tell you, since you're here, that I'm a big fan of video games. In fact video games, in all it's forms, have been present in nearly all my life! When it comes to types I kinda dig them all; from shooters to point-and-click games. However I easily get quite bored with sports games so I tend to stay away from those games. I have all the current gen systems however I am quite partial to the Playstation 3. I guess I like all of their exclusives and it's great because they have so many. In fact one of my most anticipated game this year is a Playstation exclusive and that's The Last of Us from Naughty Dog. Outside of games I've recently starting cycling (to help with my need to exercise ) and I'm currently learning how to cook different kinds of foods. I joined gamepodunk to be a part of a community who is as passionate about games as I am. Here's to the future of games! --Veridis_Quo

    Journey Papercraft!

That's awesome, there really should be some vinyl figures of video game characters. I'll definitely be a collector.

Sequel to Shadows of the Damned?

I thoroughly enjoyed SotD, it had a great balance of horror and comedy, almost in the same manner as the Evil Dead movies (funny because they do reference the Evil Dead series quite a bit in the game). I'll definitely love to see a sequel but I won't be surprised if one doesn't get made - the game didn't really sell which is unfortunate.

Anyone Else Having Trouble Syncing Trophies?

No problems here and I usually sync my trophies everyday. When I sync I rarely get locked up but it does happen - I usually wait it out and it continues on just fine.

Holy smokes Diablo III release date!!!!!

I'm probably going to buy this twice. One for the PC and one for the console.

Obligatory - What are you playing right now!

I've been playing Mass Effect 3 since it was released last week. I'm on my second playthrough to complete the platinum. Overall it's a great game though not as good as 2. I just felt it was 'watered' down - from my guess to maybe appeal to a broader audience, but who knows. I was really disappointed with how they handled the side missions and the ending leaves a lot to be desired
  11. Very cool! Thanks for the heads up, I've been kind of interested in the Kid Icarus game and have been following it for awhile. I ordered a set for myself

    Favorite Video Game Sidekicks

^Yeah he it's kind of ironic that he's not really featured as a playable character in any Mario Kart games given the fact that he starred in his own racing title. However he was eventually partnered up with Donkey Kong in Mario Kart: Double Dash for the gamecube. Which, I may add, is the best Mario Kart in the series imo.

    All-time favorite videogame characters.

The all-time definitive video game character can be no one else but the mushroom consuming pipe jumping goomba stomping and infamous turtle hater Mario from Super Mario Bros. Gaming as we know it wouldn't be here without Mario - the original mario game alone saved the video game industry from the brink of bunkruptcy; that alone merits major props.

I've recently beaten Assassin's Creed: Revelations and the game was good however the sequel fatique is quite apparent in this one. I went into the game knowing that fact already but I couldn't pass up seeing the final hurrah of both Ezio and Altair. Overall I felt the closure was great but I have to agree with what barrel had said and that I was quite let down with how much story content there was. You can consider me a fan of the series but I will admit that something drastic needs to be done with the gameplay if they want they want to keep players interested. Either that or give us a new location that requires you move around in a different way. I don't know how they're going to do it while keeping the integrity of the series but whatever they do I hope it's for the better. Despite all of this I'm still looking forward to AC3 this year

Right on, that's exactly what I'm doing right now. I like that theres so many variables that effects each subsequent game. I don't mind going through multiple playthroughs of ME2 just to see what effects what in ME3. I know it's crazy to hear, given that each playthrough is at least 30 hours, but the game is the only one of it's kind right now.
