Honestly this gen could be the one to really push me to hooking a PC up to my TV and just plugging in a 360 controller.
I'm pretty underwhelmed and am going to need to see what direction they take their systems in.

A PC hooked up to a tv isn't a bad idea. I was actually thinking about getting a Mac Mini, mounting it to the wall behind my television and gaming that way. I'd probably run Windows 7 on it.

I mean it's what the steam box is really trying to cash in on, and i already have a 3TB Media server directly hooked up to my TV because I had a spare PC hanging around anyway. It isn't the greatest but the processor and video card in it could likely handle some mid-low gaming.

It kinda is. The way the power goes out in my room is using a microwave in the kitchen. There's a certain time limit to use and once it reaches zero everything powers out from outside front yeard lights and my room only. Everything else in the house is not affected by it. D:

I finally got the first game working on Steam. Weird that It wouldn't let me play it. I deleted it, download, and installed it again. It got to the menu so I'm happy about that. Will definitely play it.

Day 1 of my incredible, epic quest to finish Tales of Vesperia: Turned on the Xbox, put the game in. Did some stuff that led me to a castle. Plundered it. Met some chick with pink hair. Rawk. Beat some d-bag who thought I was Flynn. Rawk. Went to Deidon Hold. Saw some monsters. Will investigate this Lord of the Plains fellow and make notes in my next journal. End recording.
