  1. Just a while ago we finally learned the release date of Darkstalkers Resurrection, and the date is already here! The game, which includes both Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3, is fairly priced at $15. Both PSN and XBLA users pay the same, although unfortunately the XBLA release is tomorrow. To help commemorate the launch of this game bundle, Capcom has posted a great deal of videos for it. First is the expected launch trailer which accompanies most any game release these days. Alongside that is a treat for series fans which shows the between the two included games. Even videos explaining for beginners were uploaded. That's not all that Capcom decided to post, though. There are even videos detailing the specific uses of select characters ( , , and ). Instead of filling this post to the brim with all mentioned videos, here's the plain old launch trailer to watch:
  2. Hey Darkstalkers fans! Are you looking for a new game? Well, that's not happening yet, but an upcoming digital release is looking to stoke those flames. Darkstalkers Resurrection has been announced by Capcom as getting Western release. Those who are unfamiliar with Darkstalkers may assume this is the name of one game. However, it is a collection which includes Darkstalkers 3 and Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge. When the set hits XBLA and PSN it will come included with a variety of arcade-like filters and online play. Darkstalkers Resurrection is heading to PSN first on March 12th. XBLA users only have to wait a day to get it though, as it releases there on March 13th. The game costs $15 or 1,200 Microsoft Points. Here are some screenshots Capcom released alongside the announcement:
  3. Capcom seems to be on fire with their HD remakes lately, as we've seen such recent remakes as Jojo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. and the upcoming Okami HD. Now it appears that they're bringing two more games to PSN and XBLA in the form of Darkstalkers Resurrection - a collection of Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 (the second and third games in the series, respectively). Darkstalkers is one of Capcom's other fighting franchises that features characters that are monsters, myths, and creatures of the night and so forth instead of your usual martial artists such as in Street Fighter. The two games in this collection will feature updated graphics and robust online features, much like many of their past remastered games. The bad news is you'll have to wait just a bit longer to play these games again; Darkstalkers Resurrection is coming in early 2013 to PSN for $15, and XBLA for 1600 MS points.
