Taken from Milkman at GDD. Been meaning to post this. This trailer actually makes me want to play GTA 5 even though I have never played any of the GTA games. I have always been more or less "meh" about the series. I did want to play it just to know what the fuss is about. But this multiplayer is cool and we could totally do a GP clan mjuahhahaha.

Rockstar Explains the Delay of Grand Theft Auto V and Shoots Down Conspiracy Theories
Jordan Haygood posted a article in Industry News
Last week, we told you about how Grand theft Auto V had been pushed back for a September release date. Rockstar themselves were the ones to announce this delay in a post on their official website. Now it appears the company has updated that post with an explanation as to why there is a delay: “Sometimes such delays are necessary in all forms of entertainment," said a Rockstar representative, "and especially in the case of a game experience as massive and complex as GTAV.†The representative continues to say that “to those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they“re all nonsense – literally the only reason we“ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.†Along with GTA V's release date being pushed back, so too was the game's box art reveal, which was originally supposed to be shown off last month. Rockstar has explained that the box art “will be coming out a bit later as well.†Are you looking forward to Grand Theft Auto V?-

The Xbox 360 and PS3 title Grand Theft Auto V was originally going to be releasing sometime in Spring, but publisher Rockstar Games has shifted that release window to September 17 instead. Rockstar says that this decision was to "allow additional development time." “We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you," said the publisher in a message to fans, "but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time.†They went on to say that “GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.†Grand Theft Auto V is planned to be the largest GTA yet, taking place in the fictional city of Los Santos, which you may remember from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The game will also feature three protagonists, and will include more "extreme" missions than ever before. Now that it has been delayed, you should expect to see Grand Theft Auto V breaking into stores on September 17, later this year. Are you looking forward to GTA V? Are you disappointed by this delay?
