This morning, Sony and developer Ready at Dawn announced that The Order: 1886 would be delayed until early 2015. Rumors began swirling yesterday that the PS4 exclusive would be pushed to February and it didn't take long for Sony to confirm. A media viewing of the game earlier this year was met with mixed feelings. Colin Moriarty of IGN was particularly critical of the lack of technical polish he saw in the closed demo. With concerns like this, it really is no surprise the game was delayed today. To tide fans over, Sony released a new trailer via the Playstation Blog today. The video looks at how Ready at Dawn melds history and mythology in their alternate historical time line. Delay or not, the game still looks gorgeous. Looking at the bigger picture, moving The Order to 2015 leaves the Playstation 4's exclusive 2014 lineup quite scarce. DRIVECLUB, Deep Down and Rime are some of the few exclusive titles Sony's new platform has coming this year and only DRIVECLUB has a confirmed release date. Sony will need to announce some big things at E3 to maintain the momentum the PS4 has built up already. Stay tuned to Game Podunk for more on The Order:1886 and the Playstation 4.
