  1. Seems like a strange thing to ask given that you're getting a third game free that you'd normally have to pay for, right? In all honesty, the answer to this depends on your philosophy with money in general. Are you the type to buy two full-priced $60 games at once with no issue? Then you're definitely one of the target people for this type of promotion, and that's great for you. Personally, the answer to whether "Buy 2, Get One Free" deals are worth is: yes and no. If you're interested in my take, go ahead and click the spoiler. If not, let me know what you think! ANYHOW, that's my take. What about you? Do you find yourself having to justify how you approach B2G1 deals, or do you buy full-priced games and not look back? Let us know!
  2. This month's flash sale is live, and unlike most of the recent ones it doesn't have a particular focus on genre or style or anything. Just a selection of various games for under $10. https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/flash-sale/cid=STORE-MSF77008-FLASHSALEWEBLP Check it out and see if anything stands out! For me, I'll probably buy Catlateral Damage since it hasn't been more than 50% off on Steam and it's been out there longer than PS4, so this might be as cheap as it gets for a while. I might also buy The Last Blade 2 or something just to push my total over the $5 minimum. Also, Sony is doing a PSN promo this month where if you spend over $100 before the end of the month you get $15 credit back, so if you're spending a lot this month anyway this might help give you a push.

    PSN Flash Sale (8/19-8/22)

Another month, another flash sale! https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/flash-sale/cid=STORE-MSF77008-FLASHSALEWEBLP Not really a ton of notable stuff, but there might be a few things worth checking out. The Final Fantasy PSOne Classics are cheaper than usual (70% off as opposed to the usual 50%) and the PS4 ports of Prototype 1 and 2 are the price they should have been at launch. Take a look at the list and let us know if you see anything you can't live without! I ended up buying Dark Cloud 2 and Chronicles of Teddy. I really wish Dark Cloud was in the sale since I've been wanting to replay it, maybe next month it'll pop up. I'd have probably gotten Final Fantasy Tactics if it was the PSP version, but oh well. I'm still somewhat tempted to get Wild Arms 3 so I may end up going back. I'm also tempted to get the GOTY version of Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I really don't want to have to download it. :\
  4. If you hadn't heard yet, yesterday Best Buy had a price glitch on a bundle they were selling that included an Xbox One (w/ choose your own game included), a Lenovo laptop, and a $50 gift card all for... $294. Mind you, the XB1 is listed at $350, and the laptop is normally $400, and the GC is $50, so that's a savings of $506 altogether, pretty crazy. Thankfully, I was able to get in on the price error before they changed it, and it looks like they are fulfilling the order! In the end, I guess you could say it's like buying an Xbox One and getting a free laptop and a $50 GC, or getting a cheap laptop w/ a free Xbox One and GC, but either way, I didn't have either (and needed a laptop), so I'm pretty stoked about this. Did anyone else get in on this deal? And have you guys ever gotten a deal that was almost too good to be true? Let's hear some stories!

    The Cheap Deals Thread

We all share gaming deals on this site and I thought hey what about sharing deals besides gaming. Share anything you find like electronics, food, clothing, or whatever deals that are worth looking up to share with everyone and hope to save a lot of money. Everyone likes to save money and find the best deals possible. Thought this thread could be used to find great cheap deals. Anyways I'll start off. I was reading an article about a $37.99 Tablet and the guy shared his experience and thoughts about it. I already have a tablet I got for free from school a year ago and thought if any of you need a tablet thought I'd share this deal. Might be a good deal for that price and I usually just use my tablet to watch streaming on Crunchyroll, Youtube, Twitter, and few games so nothing too fancy to buy an expensive tablet. You can buy it here
  6. I just thought those interested in The Cave might like to know the PC download version is 50% off now at Get Games, which makes it $7.49. It activates on Steam. http://getgamesgo.com/product/the-cave Get Games isn't as widely known as the likes of Gamersgate or Green Man Gaming, but they have some good deals every now and then so I like to check them out from time to time. You may have to create an account with Get Games, but you can pay through Paypal if you don't want to give them your credit card info. Just make sure on the checkout page you change the Delivery Zone droplist to "Rest of the World" to display the price in USD, unless you happen to live in the UK, in which case you don't have to do anything. They've also got some other Sega games on sale, if you're interested. From that page just hit the "special offers" tab and check 'em out.
