Marcus Estrada posted a article in SonyJust yesterday the news came out about Diablo 3 on PS4 allowing for offline play during local multiplayer matches. This annoyed some PC users who had previously been told by Blizzard that it was not possible for any part of the game to not be constantly connected. Others still dislike this change as it doesn't go far enough to make single player mode offline too. Regardless, more has been said about Diablo 3 which is probably set to annoy even more players. Blizzard's official community managers responded to fans and shared tidbits of new info. First, there was discussion about the idea of cross platform play. As with most other games, this will not make it into the PS4 version. Players on PS4 will only be able to access others playing on PS4 and not PC, or vice versa. The next comment made was about the possibility of using USB keyboards or mice. However, since the game has been retooled for PlayStation controllers specifically, these will not function. At least, there is no plan to make it work at the moment. It is not expected that the functionality will ever arrive considering the work Blizzard did put into making Diablo 3 run at its best with a controller play scheme. Are any of these revelations deal breakers for the PS4 version of Diablo 3?
