  1. During the reveal of Kinect Sports Rivals, the Rare employee simply known as Danny announced that the game would be releasing alongside the Xbox One in November of this year. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that was supposed to be a surprise for the conference itself, right? Microsoft probably won't be too happy to hear that the system's launch window was just revealed for a Kinect game on the E3 preshow, but its only an hour ahead of schedule.
  2. The Xbox One has just been confirmed for a 2013 launch window. It was also mentioned that the release would be worldwide, but it wasn't said if this worldwide release would be simultaneous or not. Odds are it won't be, but we'll see. Of course Microsoft didn't give an exact date or price due to E3 being just weeks away, but you won't have to wait very long before you know exactly when you'll get your hands on this new console.
  3. Do you remember Remember Me? The game initially saw a burst of interest when it was revealed during Gamescom as the re-branded version of Adrift. The game's concept of heading into people's memories and manipulating them drew players in. Since then, there have been bits of information, but nothing too substantial. We should expect that to change in the coming months as we now have a release date. Remember Me will be coming on June 4th (as long as no delays crop up). The game will come to Europe a few days later on June 7th. As such, we should begin to see the media machine churning out information and videos on the game in increased amounts until then. Remember Me is coming to PS3, 360, and PC. There has been no mention to it coming to other systems such as PS4 or Wii U. Check out the latest trailer below:
  4. If you've been hankering for some more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action, rest assured, as more games are on their way. They won't be published by the same company as before, however, as Activision has officially taken the franchise off of Ubisoft's hands for the time being. This change is due to a multi-year deal Activision signed with Nickelodeon, who own the TMNT license. According to said deal, Activision will be publishing three TMNT games, all based on the new animated series. The first of these three games will be released this Summer, although their haven't been any released details for the game. But they do say that these games will "take gamers through interactive environments and action-packed adventures that truly capture the essence, tone and exciting elements of the Turtles." Are you a TMNT fan? Are you looking forward to these games?
  5. Last week, we told you about how Grand theft Auto V had been pushed back for a September release date. Rockstar themselves were the ones to announce this delay in a post on their official website. Now it appears the company has updated that post with an explanation as to why there is a delay: “Sometimes such delays are necessary in all forms of entertainment," said a Rockstar representative, "and especially in the case of a game experience as massive and complex as GTAV.†The representative continues to say that “to those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they“re all nonsense – literally the only reason we“ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.†Along with GTA V's release date being pushed back, so too was the game's box art reveal, which was originally supposed to be shown off last month. Rockstar has explained that the box art “will be coming out a bit later as well.†Are you looking forward to Grand Theft Auto V?

Grand Theft Auto V Gets Delayed

The Xbox 360 and PS3 title Grand Theft Auto V was originally going to be releasing sometime in Spring, but publisher Rockstar Games has shifted that release window to September 17 instead. Rockstar says that this decision was to "allow additional development time." “We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you," said the publisher in a message to fans, "but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time.†They went on to say that “GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.†Grand Theft Auto V is planned to be the largest GTA yet, taking place in the fictional city of Los Santos, which you may remember from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The game will also feature three protagonists, and will include more "extreme" missions than ever before. Now that it has been delayed, you should expect to see Grand Theft Auto V breaking into stores on September 17, later this year. Are you looking forward to GTA V? Are you disappointed by this delay?
  7. Have you been anticipating release dates for some of the upcoming games on Wii U or 3DS? Previously, Nintendo had just announced release quarters for some, but today they have shared a press release which gives out actual dates. Some big name titles are still missing, but at least we're getting some exact information. On Wii U, a lot appears to be coming out in March. First there is Lego City: Undercover on March 18th, then Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on March 19th. Those who have been waiting on the likes of Rayman Legends will be happy to know it is coming out on February 26th. This is a game which had been pushed out of launch but it's good to see it isn't that far away now. There are a handful of other titles coming to Wii U in that time frame, but mostly multiplatform releases such as Aliens: Colonial Marines and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. In regards to 3DS, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon finally gets dated with March 24th. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity also happens to be out on that date. Of course, there are still other games coming such as Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan on February 26th and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers on April 16th. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is conspicuously absent from from this announcement which means it probably is not coming out in March/April. If you're interested in seeing all the games dated for Wii U, Wii, 3DS, and eShop then just take a look at Nintendo's announcement page. What Nintendo platform games are you looking forward to?

    Bioshock Infinite Delayed into March

It seems that if a game is worth wanting or owning that it must be delayed at least once before launch. Well, not really, but it happens quite often anyway with highly-anticipated titles. Case in point, this is not the first time Bioshock Infinite has been delayed, but now it is being pushed further away from everyone's eager hands. Before this delay, it was set to come out on February 26th (itself a delayed date). Now, CEO of Irrational Games, Ken Levine has shared news of the newest delay which has pushed it back another month. Now, barring a last minute delay, Bioshock Infinite will launch on March 26th. What is the point of this delay? The game is being held back to allow for more bug-fixing and polish. Although players will not be happy to see the game delayed, they should appreciate the extra effort being put into it. Sure, the game may still be great without this extra work, but developers should not feel complacent to release bug-riddled messes. Whenever Bioshock Infinite is finally out it will be available on PC, PS3, and 360.
