The Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer was supposed to debut next week with Agents of SHIELD, but you no longer have to wait. Marvel has released an official trailer and it has creamed my pants for excitement. James Spader as Ultron nailed it. Creepy background music, Hulkbuster, Andy Serkis with no mocap suit, etc. So awesome! Update: Marvel has released the official release trailer. No more leaked trailers. It's official! Woo!

Joss Whedon Signed On to Write and Direct Avengers 2

Earlier today in a Walt Disney Conference Call it was confirmed that Joss Whedon would be returning to write and direct The Avengers 2! No doubt, this is great news as Whedon was one of the primary reasons the first Avengers was such a good movie and a big hit. In addition, he's also going to be involved in the development of a live-action TV series set in the Marvel universe, but no other information has been released about it. Samuel L Jackson Fires Back Over Negative Avengers Review

Looks like the New York times' review of The Avengers didn't sit well with Mr. Jackson; he took to Twitter to denounce the writer's opinion and insinuated that he needs a new job.
