Hahaha thanks for sharing. Awesome you still remember that. I am actually planning to finish the story on normal first. Then I will move on to Hardcore ^^
Yea, I was going to say. Isn't that to early for hardcore. Let's get a couple of characters down first before we all get sad about losing someone for good in hardcore

I have been trying to get a High Level Wizard on Hardcore and failed twice already.
My first character Humble died at 15... not humble enough.
Then my second character Humility (Can you see the pattern?) Die at 24... pretty heart breaking...
About to give up but then the prestige!! the prestige of having a level 60 hardcore character is sooo tempting!

Hardcore is simply hard because no mistakes or forgiven, once dead you are dead forever.
The unfair problem though is lag. I know many people that lost their characters through lag.
Interesting thing is though that most people that get into hardcore almost can't play regular anymore.
That I have an idea but still trying to understand better why ^^

Yeah for the people that are complaining that Diablo III normal is hard they should just play on Hardcore. Blizzard recently reported that the majority of the deaths on Hardcore are on Normal Act I.

I'll tell you. After playing hardcore mode with my friends on D2 (and this was just through the LAN connection) I loved it. I don't really are to play regular now because it isn't as exciting. If you die you can just run back and loot your body. No fun there. Hardcore means all my decisions matter and I need to play it slower. But I won't run hardcore by myself, just suicidal at that point hahah.
Funny you mention the lag death. Because my friend when we played D2 hardcore back then did die from a lag. Another was saying how he just went ahead of the group and did his own thing and then he died because of lag. His guy was level 70+. I just lol

Dang I want a level 60 Hardcore character but I don't know if I will be able to stomach the death of that character... still I think I will start a new Hardcore Barb ^^
Just don't die then you won't have a problem.
Mine also died in D2. I forgot his name. But I didn't know he was going to explode on me and kill my hammerdin. I was so sad that day

On a separate note two crazy guys killed the Hardcore Inferno Diablo!!!
Mad props to these guys, I can't even get to normal Diablo. My highest HC character is now a living 27 Barbarian ^^

Guys I am here to report that my 20 hour + hardcore female wizard "Cautious", yes she should have been even more cautious, died at level 44.
I have no regrets though and it was a blast. Will be starting up a new hardcore barb in the near future ^^
Oh man, RIP Cautious.
