Grimlock Smash! In this new developer diary that explains how the Dinobots came to be on cybertron with 'Tieg' having a few problems with Hasbro he finally convinced them to use the Dinobots in the story but with a catch!
Unlike the other origin stories that have been made about the Dinobots, High Moon Studios have been able to invent a new more original story that suits the story of both War of Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron and it is as follows;

Shockwave, who is Cybertron's most diabolical scientist, has managed to create these warriors and provide them the means of transformation through his newly found method of openning space bridges so he can have access to the different planets but only few did he saw fit with life and power and that was when he found the dinosaurs on earth that he scanned their exoskeleton and managed to bring that data back to his lair and use it on these warriors to become the dinobots. However what he did not know was that it would reduce the intellect of the most powerful and formidable Dinobot, known as Grimlock, and hence his plans for dominating Cybertron had collapse as soon as Grimlock and hiis team escapes Shockwave's lair.



This game has a lot of potential and I surely can't wait to play it!!! How about you guys, will you play this game?

I'm a fan of Transformer so this is definitely good news for me. I hope it does well. I haven't played the games they made for it yet but I seen all 3 movies. What I really wish though is they go to beast war. That's the one I grew up watching and would love for them to do a movie or game for it, mainly a movie would be great. I remember how Optimus was a gorilla and Megatron is a T-rex. This is dinobots though, maybe it could be a transition to them being animals since Megatron technically would already be a T-rex which is a dino.

Just a note if you want to really get into transformers you can start collecting the newly made Marvel comic books that are actually a republishing of the original g1 transformers comics but also theres another comic book series that continues the story of the transformers on Cybertron after the events of G1 if you are interested in buying it here's the name of the series: The Transformers: Regeneration One

The beast Wars played one of the most biggest roles when I was growing up, they series had everything that a person liked to view; I mean dinosaurs turning into giant robots which they are struggling to fix their ship as quickly as possible and at the same time fight an ongoing vendetta before the decepticons are able destroy everything in their path.

This is dinobots though, maybe it could be a transition to them being animals since Megatron technically would already be a T-rex which is a dino.

Could you elaborate on this sentence as I do not understand it fully and the only meaning I can infer is that you are saying that Megatron is a dinosaur on earth similar to Beast Wars and that Grimlock took his appearance from Megatron,. If that is the case then you are sorely mislead since Beast Wars took place 300 years after the Great War of Cybertron and so it could not be possible for the dinobots to have taken their forms from the Predacons as they were from a different era.

I heard the last game was decent, so maybe this one will be good. If the Transformer movies had Grimlock in them then they might not suck as much.

Found a few gameplay videos on Transformers Fall of Cybertron and wanted to share it with you guys.




The first trailer shows us how Jazz's gameplay will be like and he will have a more long ranged role on the battlefield with the addition of the grappling hook Jazz can now reach places where other Autobots will find it dificult to traverse on foot.

The second,however, is all about the different game styles that the characters have and how player will be using them in Fall of Cybertron. Also the inclusion of Vortex makes me so excited!!! I wonder who else will be appearing in this video game?

Yea I was just relating how him being dinosuars in both. So maybe they will do beast wars next. I wasn't sure if there were any connection between beast wars and dinobots. I don't know all the history of transformers. I knew from what little I could remember of beast wars and of course the movies now.

I still recall one episode of beast wars where they were both trying to recruit the new transformer named "White Tiger." That was an awesome episode. He owned the deceptcon.

Also, who knows what High Moon Studios will be creating next, we will have to play their upcoming game to get a taste of what's to come and what will become of the transformerverse.

Really? I thought I saw that Bay wasn't going to be back for the next installment. But I saw this on wikipedia but at the time it is a rumor. Plus, can't always trust wiki. Bay returning should be good. I'm glad Statham won't be in it. I don't really see him as a fit in this series. I think LaBeouf was good. Too bad Megan Fox is already gone too haha. Let's hope bumble bee return and of course my boy Optimus. Anyhow, I can't wait for the movie. I enjoyed all three of the movies.

I guess he doesn't want to give up his massive paychecks just yet. I really hated all the cast members from the Transformers movies. I don't like the fact that the Transformers took the back seat to poorly written and acted human characters in a Transformers movie. Hopefully the actual robots themselves are the focus in the next movie, and not a poorly written character that the audience is supposed to relate to but doesn't. I agree about Statham, he's as one-note as they come. Like I said before, it would be bad ass if they put Grimlock in the movie.

Haha, it's funny to see how a game can lead to discussions of other merchandise that is in relation to the game but I would prefer if we could concentrate on the game: 'Transformers: Fall of Cybertron' and share our impressions about it!

After all, we could create another topic that centres around the movies and discuss our problems their rather than here.

What they need to do is make that version of OP as a CE or something. Now that would be an awesome CE item to get.
