Humble Bundle 5 May Be Most Amazing One Yet

The bundle contains: Bastion (if you pay more than the average), Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Psychonauts, LIMBO, and Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP.
In addition to the games you will also gain the soundtracks to every single one of them.
It remains to be seen if more games will be unlocked later on but it is kind of a tradition for indie bundles to add more as time goes on.
All of the games can be played on Linux, Mac, or PC. And as always they are DRM-free.

Feel free to add me on Steam at http://www.steamcomm....com/id/drpixel if you just want to chat or need a friend. Please mention that you're from here though, because I usually don't accept requests from random people, which seems to happen to me a lot. ![]()

Can I be your friend?Despite owning 3 out of the 5 (Bastion, Limbo, Pyschonauts) I will definitely pick up 2 or more of these and gift the extras to friends!
I'd have gotten this bundle, if not for the fact that I already own most of them and have next to no funds left on my Paypal...

This bundle is nothing but recycled games already released in other bundles so I would not call this a great bundle. I have 3 of the games and only care for one of the remaining two.
When were any of these games previously used in other bundles... o_o

I played Psychonauts on the original xbox
Bastion and Limbo on XBLA
Amnesia I haven't played but I don't like scary games.... I am thinking I should stay away from this game ^^
But I got this bundle just for Sword and Sworcery. Seems like that game wasn't too popular here ^^

What she said. I'm confused.
Also I think Psychonauts is considered one of the first indie games to be released on a major console?

(Oh God, please kill me)
It's a point and click game.I never had to change the time on my ipod touch to progress. There's in game method to changing the phases of the moon.I basically pooped socked the game.
The problem is that the method to change the phases only presents itself if you play a certain way. If you do Dark Moon first, you never get the chance to change the phase in-game, you have to either wait or change your date.

How scary is Amnesia? I really don't like scary games but the game has been getting good reviews so I am a little intrigued. I did play Silent Hill 2 but I basically read ahead on gamefaqs to know what to expect ^^ I am a chicken ^^
Well, both are very great at creating first a creepy atmospheric feel then presenting the scares as you go along, not all at once, so it's a bit like Silent Hill 2 in that aspect. I haven't played Silent Hill 2 yet so I can't say how scary it is compared to Amnesia, but to my knowledge of the 7 or so hours I've played of the main campaign of Amnesia (Only maybe halfway done so far! Also there's 1 [actually, 2 I think] expansions and then hundreds of custom stories to play), the game is sort of....random in a sense. For example, I played it over Steam voice chat with a friend, and we both started from the beginning and tried to play at exactly the same part the whole time, and yet there were many instances where he would run into a monster and I wouldn't for a while, or vice versa. So, don't exactly expect it to be a linear "monster appears around this corner" sort of thing! That's one of the main things I love about Amnesia.
Anywho, I must say that Amnesia is truly a VERY frightening game! Frictional Games seriously improved upon Penumbra by a good 300% when it comes to the chilling atmosphere and creepy monsters. Speaking of monsters, one thing Amnesia is awesome about is placing the monsters. They always seem to appear shortly after you go through a creepy room or two, and often you get really shocked once they do because of the creepy location you just walked past or solved a puzzle in.
The story could be considered a bit generic at the surface (guy loses memory, has to go through spooky castle), but underneath that is a creepy tale of how your main character had to help the main villain commit horrible experiments and the like. Speaking of that, there's these flashback-like sequences that are sort of unsettling to say the least, as many have you hearing the screams of people YOU had to torture.
Oh, and the sounds and music of Amnesia! I can't forget about those! I'm sure you've watched at least a few videos by now (I'm a huge chicken too, so I know I sure did before playing), but that little frantic theme that plays when a monster has spotted and started to chase you is just incredibly creepy haha. I don't think I'll ever forget it honestly!
Content-wise, Amnesia is great with its long main story (could take longer if you're super scared and take your time like me), many mods (with some being as long or possibly a bit longer than the main story even!), and multiple endings (though they don't vary too much in how you get them and you can always watch a video of each one you didn't get). Is it scary? Heck yes! I know a lot of people who've called it the scariest game ever, and to be honest, I think it either is or is very close to being that. I truly must applaud Frictional Games on the awesome job they've done, and I can't wait for Amnesia 2! (Though from what I've heard it won't be as scary...sadly)
Since you've played Silent Hill 2, I'd say go ahead and play Amnesia, and if you don't think you're up to the challenge, perhaps get a friend who also has it (and maybe one who is also too scared to play!) and just both start a new game and play "together". If you're too scared it makes it really fun that way and as I'm a big chicken too that's how I played about halfway through the game......well, until the Sewers that is. 0_o
EDIT: Wow, really didn't mean to go on that much about the game! Sorry, I've just been playing a bunch of custom stories lately and have really enjoyed how good of a game it is, and I tend to go on and on about games I like haha.
