File this one under N for not happening any time soon. Gamestop.com has updated their list of Wii-U games and made every big E3 announcement available for preorder starting today. The only catch? The placeholder price they have listed for each and every game is a whopping $100 each.

I could see Wii-U titles possibly reaching $60 a pop, but $100 will absolutely never happen, at least not in the United States. You can see the slightly inflated prices below, and also a link to the Wii-U store front so you can lock in your overly expensive preorders right now!

For only an arm and a leg - you can get these fantastic games at $100 + tax lololol!

I rue the day that games are this expensive :( Imagine the console cost if games were truly that much...

This definitely made me laugh though!

These are gamestop's usual exaggerated guess-timates. They did the same thing last year when they set the Vita's estimated preorder at $1000.

It's just a placeholder until they get the official pricing from the developers. Nothing to see here.

Didn't they double the price of Vita memory cards before the Sony released the actual prices?

Probably just some way to let the masses know that they will carry the product. I doubt anyone would buy the games if they came out to be that much.

Oh no, there would be some. Probably more than some, because that's just the way people are about electronics.

I feel bad for anyone out there who actually preorders from them now.....but still, I have a bad irking that the prices for all of the newest-generation console games will be at least $10 more or even $20 more than what this generation's were.. -_-

It's sad but kinda true, as game publishers need to roll in the dough, and do that they have, just looking at Activision is proof enough of that haha.

Oh, and Gamestop. Yeah, this is usual for them.

Feel free to add me on Steam at http://www.steamcomm....com/id/drpixel if you just want to chat or need a friend. Please mention that you're from here though, because I usually don't accept requests from random people, which seems to happen to me a lot. :D

I honestly do believe that we will be looking at $80 day one release prices for all new games. Not to mention then they will release DLC which will be another $5-15 probably heading toward $15. I feel that you could end up paying like $120 easily for a game.
