It may be anticipation, it may be clever planning, but the Extended Cut DLC has caused a tiny little bit of rumblings on the internet. Unfortunately, the information leaked is minimal and is stuff we already knew. Fortunately, this leak comes with rumors of new DLC, this time set on Earth.

The Extended Cut information is just a brief summary, saying what BioWare and others have been saying for months, "An expanded ending for Mass Effect 3. Additional scenes and an extended epilogue reveal the impact of Shepard's choices on the future of the galaxy."

So yeah, basically nothing new. If you wanted something new, however, much more interesting is the rumored Earth DLC: "The fighting is fiercest when it's your home at stake! Mass Effect 3™: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!"

Adding three new Earth-based locations and three new weapons are pretty standard insofar as their usual fare goes. Adding SIX new human classes is pretty extreme. Can we trust it? I don't know, but if it lends any credence, this is information leaked by the same person who leaked the last DLC.

Maybe not so much the six human classes, but it definitely would make sense to have Earth missions.

For clarity, these two aren't said to be part of the same DLC, only that they are both parts of downloadable content that are on the way. If they were to come out close to one another, it would make sense, though, given the coming of the Extended Cut DLC arriving with the ringing endorsement of this new DLC.

The Extended Cut DLC has a BioWare release plan of sometime this summer.

If this is all free, Bioware definitely deserves a pat on the back!

This will most definitely not be free. if it is... well then... Bioware is a company that does care about their customers and not just their money ^^

It better be free since we deserved an explanation for the ending I have not seen yet, but heard of. I still need to play it, but will play wit with the complete ending. Hopefully it's better than the awful ones unless this is an explanation why we got the bad ending. My bro beaten it and was mixed on the ending he got. I gave up on my insanity run for ME2 so will beat that on normal and head out to ME3. Bioware has been nice enough to give us those free multiplayer maps and hopefully this one is free so we can pat them on the back like Ludono said.
