Konami is continuing the HD treatment of their classic favorites with revamping Zone of the Enders 1 and 2. In addition, they revealed a whole new animated opening sequence by the anime studio Sunrise. The updated animation and look truly come about giving a better sense of the action shown off in the game. It also does a good job of hitting the main plot points of the series and gives a nice intro to the main cast as well in Gundam fashion.

The release date for the HD collection is slated for the fall in the states, further details will come about when more information comes available.

That looks so awesome!!! Some people are down on HD collections but I absolutely love them. If it wasn't for HD collections I would have never played God of War 1 and 2, Sly Cooper, Resident Evil 4 and soon MGS 2 and 3. I can't wait to add Zone of Enders to that list especially with a third installment inevitably on the way.

This is most definitely an HD collection I will be getting. I bought a copy of ZoE1 because it was dirt cheap, but it's in the default GameStop case and I haven't touched it yet bleh. And I haven't bought the second game because it's kind of expensive.

So this collection for the PS3 will be perfect for me :)

Will this be on the 360 as well? I have heard a lot of good stuff and this series intrigued me but I never played the series. I am interested. I wanted to see some more gameplay but the whole 5 min intro was all animated eh?

Need some gameplay vids ^^

This is one of HD collection I must absolutely get. I can't wait to play Zone of Enders again and especially The 2nd Runner in HD so I can pilot Jehuty once more since it's been almost 12 years since I've played it on my ps2. Now if only Namco Bandai does a compilation of .Hack series in HD and I'm golden. I know wishful thinking. :)

I am really excited for this since I never bought the games on PS2. HD Collection these days are really great for us if we missed out on classic games. Definitely a pickup for my PS3. I feel like HD Collections look better on PS3 because of Bluray format. Anyways the only HD Collection I have is the Sly and Ico/SotC Collections. I am glad classic games are coming out as HD Collections. Well worth buying for. Also Chrono, I would to see a .Hack series in HD. I've only played the first two, but now those games are difficult to find and the prices for them increases.

I'm lucky since I own all the (dot)Hack games and yeah prices for those games if you can find them are crazy. I enjoyed G.U. more than the first series and hoping they get re-released in a HD collection "soon". On that note also hope they'd make another .Hack game again and not a fighting game though Versus looks cool so might get that one too eventually when it becomes available.

I'd love to see a couple .Hack collections. Those games are too expensive to buy now.
