It has been quite a while since Penny Arcade's first game came out. The first two of the On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness series were out in 2008, then nothing. There was a whole lot of nothing and worry that the series would never conclude until developer Zeboyd Games took control of the project.
In the case that you've been waiting all this time for the 3rd installment then it'll be good to know your supreme patience has been worth it. The game will be out on July 10th on Steam, XBLA, Android and iOS. Zeboyd put up a trailer for the upcoming Penny Arcade Adventures for those who want to give it a look.
Much has changed since Hothead Games let go of the property. The game has gone from a sort of cel-shaded 3D game to a much more retro, pixel-y RPG. Hopefully the changes made have resulted in a better game but we'll have to wait to find out.
