We're only a few hours into July and already Club Nintendo has announced the next set of downloadable game rewards for July.

This month will see only two downloadable games-

• Mario Tennis (N64/ for Wii Virtual Console) - 150 coins
• Electroplankton: Rec-Rec (Nintendo 3DS eShop) - 100 coins

For those who haven't played it, Mario Tennis is a fantastic Nintendo sports title and was one of the best multiplayer games on the Nintendo 64 for its time. It's also an excellent (and cheaper) alternative for those who are still on the fence about the recently released Mario Tennis Open for 3DS.

Electroplankton: Rec-Rec is a re-release of one of the five original games in the Electroplankton retail release years back, and it features the ability to record your own voice or other sounds in order to create different melodies along with the background music and fish in the game.

Curiously enough, Electroplankton: Rec-Rec is only available until July 15th, while Mario Tennis is only available until until the 22nd, instead of both games being available until the end of the month.

Might Nintendo be shortening the cycle of different games each month? I suppose we'll find out on July 23rd.
