Well, that didn't take long.

Earlier, it was announced that Sony would be unveiling two new characters in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale's lineup at EVO today, and now they've been revealed in a video.

Say hello to Toro and Tekken's Heihachi.

Toro Inoue might be a bit lesser known here in the West, but that's because he's been Sony's Japanese mascot for over a decade. In the game, he operates as a close-range fighter in his Justice form, a ranged specialist in his Torobi form, and wide-area controller in his Oni form. Sounds interesting enough!

Heihachi is a bit more of a familiar face for Playstation fans as he's been the face of the Tekken franchise pretty much since its inception. He's also one of five characters to have been in every game in the Tekken series!

His key moves such as the Electric Wind God Fist and Twin Pistons will be returning in All-Stars Battle Royale as part of his move-set, and he'll be a powerful close combat fighter as well as having one of the best combo potentials in the entire roster of characters.

Also announced was a new stage: the Dojo from Parappa the Rapper where Parappa learned martial arts from Chop Chop Master Onion!

Are you pleased with the new character reveals? Who would you like to see revealed next?

Heihachi is certainly a surprise. Isn't the company that makes Tekken working on the next Smash Brothers as well? Maybe Heihachi will drop in on both.

At first I looked at the image and my eyes literally bled. I thought it was some sort of bad trip....gone bad. The Helghast megawalker thing and Parappa? Talk about invasive cross-overs! This thing is insane!

I'm not really that big on Heihachi. I'd rather them include characters that aren't already in fighting game franchises. I guess they figured he was one of the bigger names, and Tekken was pretty much PlayStation exclusive until 6.

Can't wait to see who the announce at Comic-Con next week! These two additions aren't that big for me but Tekken has a great following and Toro is huge in Japan.

I guess this is the another way that they trying to get us to know Toro in the states since he keeps appearing in games now. Seems like Heihachi is become more & more the face of Tekken now maybe that why they added him. Also the fact that him and Yoshimitsu are the only two Tekken character that I know that were in other fighting games. Like Tyler said I'm also interested in who they are announce during Comic Con.
