It was announced a little while back, but now the free DLC for Payday: The Heist is finally out. Although the game was developed by Overkill Software, they got together with Valve to put a part of Left 4 Dead into the campaign. In fact, Overkill calls it a bit of "fan fiction" for L4D.

The new heist is based in Mercy Hospital, which was where first campaign, "No Mercy", of the original L4D took place. As long as you own Payday then you'll have the DLC added right into your game. Beyond that, if you own L4D or L4D2 (and have it currently installed) then you'll be able to deck your crew out in zombie masks. Finally, the Mercy Hospital heist also has an even more extreme difficulty setting if you want to test yourself.
