I was just wondering what will be the next Halo for Microsoft? Anyone have any clues as to the next big Xbox franchise?

I think the next big thing will be Halo 4 .

This will be the first Halo I didn't get. I'm not a bg Microsoft fan after so many RROD experiences with them. It's sad because I love Halo but I don't think I'll ever buy another Microsoft console.

Not sure what they will come up with in terms of a new franchise but I'm sure it will be next generation as they don't really seem to be bringing anything new to this generation. Microsoft is due for a new franchise and personally I'd like to see them come up with something other than a shooter. That's why I love Sony so much, the games that define them are a diverse group but who could fault Microsoft for sticking with what they do so well and what their customer base seems to prefer.

I was torn about a non Bungie Halo but the more I see of Halo 4 the more I want it. My hopes for Halo 4 is that 343 Industries will make an excellent addition to the legacy while bringing some new things to the table. I just wish every shooter I want wasn't released in a few weeks span of one another because I'll probably hold off on it for awhile because I'm expecting to be dedicating my need to shoot things with MOH Warfighter. Also I hate to admit it but I'm kind of a COD addict and Black Ops 2 is looking pretty intriguing.

Sony has always been for the gamer who likes diverse gaming experiences. I hate to say it (I really don't) but the Sony PS3 is the more mature console. Each console has its benefits and downfalls though.

In my dreams, the next big thing will be a return to form for Rare(ware) and they'll release something as action-packed as Goldeneye and Perfect Dark and as addictive and replayable as Viva Pinata.

I think we will see what they plan to do with the new xbox. Will they give us a brand new IP and try to make it the next big series on the xbox? Or keep on pushing for the kinect? Or maybe they'll bring out a version 2 of the kinect. I hope not.

Cobra I believe that the Kinect 2 is already in the works with the Durango.

Okay well I hope they bring out good games for it. I still don't need a kinect or see the reason to get one.
