I'm always checking on eBay to find gaming items. Usually I'm just looking though. It's like window shopping, you know, but better. Anyway, oftentimes I come across some really fun actions, stuff I've never seen before, or ludicrously priced goods. So the idea of this thread is for us to share the notable game stuff we come across on the site.

All I've got right now is this auction which amused me: 12 foot inflatable mario with blower.

Just in case you've ever needed a giant inflatable Mario here it is! I'm especially fond of the second product picture which shows a woman posing next to it. :P

I saw one a while ago. It was a bedazzled fat DS with an asking price of $200 because it was "one of a kind."

Pretty cool, but I don't think I'd spend $500+ on that. My wife would kill me. LOL

How can they sell it new if it's already been blown up?

They are probably using the GameStop tactic where used and opened stuff is still "new".

I'm sure you all remember seeing this. Sad thing is I expected there to be more of them than 400.

And I won;t be surprised if eventually all companies adopt the GameStop policy on "new" games.

Talk about a lot of stuff holy !!! - http://www.ebay.com/...=item3cc32c9590

And that asking price?! That's insane! I wonder if anyone will actually buy it, based on the comments it looks like a few were actually interested.

On the other hand, I'd imagine it could be quite sad to see 15 years worth of a collection sold off. Still I wonder if he'll sell it.

I like to buy it, but in a way it would be a waste. I could never go through that entire list of games. Especially with more games coming out. I wonder how much did it actually cost him to get that, is it even close to the asking price? Or maybe way more than what the asking price. If I could buy that, well I would be a total baller. Too bad I didn't win that mega million drawing.

I bet someone will purchase the lot, and he said best offer could be significantly less than what he is asking. I am sure for having collected it for 15 years it was probably very difficult to even put a starting price on it. He said there are about 5000 individual game titles, and with duplicates, that number goes to 9000 games. So if each of his games has an average price of $5, then that would mean the collection could be worth $45,0000. This of course doesn't count games that are worth less than $5 or games that are worth considerably more, not to mention the other items besides games he has in the collection.

I really want to buy it but I don't have the money to. Hate it for being poor. Even after buying it, is he shipping it? Or do we need to rent a uhaul and go there haha. Also got to find spaces for it. Such a huge task.
