I thoroughly enjoyed the anime and manga so learning about a live action movie of the series piqued my interest and seeing this trailer makes me more so.
Will it live up to expectations or fail utterly?

Just saw this new trailer today and I have to say I can't wait to see this.
I thoroughly enjoyed the anime and manga so learning about a live action movie of the series piqued my interest and seeing this trailer makes me more so.
Will it live up to expectations or fail utterly?

Dang..... this is either my worst nightmare come true or my next anticipated movie after the Avengers....
I have a terrible feeling that it will be the first though. The manga is one of my top favorite mangas. Probably number one of the mainstream mangas. The anime was passable...
The trailer... well it does give me hope but I want the action to be right. Not too much special effects but something tangibly done. I dont know... but I will be looking out for this one ^^

OMG I must get this and watch it. I love kenshin and it is my favorite manga of all time. I hated how they milk the anime but I still watched it all. I must get this although I think it won't be thatgood. I like how the person playing kenshin do look a bit like a girl too, just like the manga.

I must watch this movie too was my first thought too DarkCobra86 and we'll find out if this movie is any good since it's coming out this year! The characters seem to fit though still not sure about the guy playing as Sanosuke though.

The guy that is playing sano looks no good haha. Well that was my first impression, hopefully I'm wrong. I can't wait for this movie. I might just buy it just because it is kenshin haha.

Did you ever read the manga? I think it is so much better and faster. But I do like them drawing it out and him doing his ultimate move.

I liked the manga versions ending more than the anime version and on that note now wondering which version of the story they'll be following in the movie now. I hope it's the manga version that they'll follow.

Well the ending of the manga was actually an OVA they made. It was dark and well really good. But the manga is the best, they should have done that ending for the anime and end it at season 2. But no, of course we gotta milk kenshin for everything he's got and ruin it.
