Seems very weird. I'm not sure if I am sold on Datura the game but the tech is very promising. I'm imagining a psychological drama type game. It would play like Heavy Rain but make you feel like Dead Space.

It said it was true 1:1, but it looked like whenever they actually performed an action a premade animation would play. I'm not entirely sold on it either, from what they showed it just looked like another one of their interactive art titles.

So the hand just remind me of rise of nightmare on kinect. I looks and feel like rise of the nightmare (from me seeing the commercial on tv of rise of nightmare). But I do think this game is interesting in that how you are put in these scenario. Very interesting. And if anything, it gives you good replayability.

This game is basically sort of like those old adventure games. Like Myst.

I honestly don't know if this kind of game has a place anymore. If it does however, then great. But today's average gamer is mindless for the most part. They want stuff where they don't have to constantly read and think.

It's sad, but true.

This actually looks really cool.

I've got to say, in terms of cool and creative games the move has definitely won out over the Kinect.

I agree. Well I never tried the Kinect anyways, but I enjoyed the Move. If I had a Kinect, I probably would have less games and maybe more on the move.

It's going to launch at only $7.99 on May 8 for PS Plus members. Definitely worth a look at that price!

This looks very interesting, the way your choices will affect the forest and the more good choices you choose the more lighter the forest will become same is true for the opposite. Imagine doing bad deed and the forest turns into a nightmarish environment where creeps and ghouls start to appear like in Amnesia.

The problem for me, is that I do not have in my possession this Playstation Move gadget but I don't think I would be willing to buy it since from what I've seen it functions quite similarly to the Wii and I prefer playing at my friend's house Wii instead of getting PS Move..

Wow, that's great! Hope you have a great time playing it!
P.S. Could you also tell us what do you require when playing it? I mean you need playstation move that's obvious, but how much space does it take on your hard drive?

You actually do not need the Playstation Move. Datura is also playable with the Dualshock 3. The file size for the game is 879 MB.

I plan on playing through the game tomorrow night!

I heard it wasn't that great. It looked surreal but not all that interesting. I'll have to give it a wing if Durden reports it's decent.

Well this is good to know. When I saw the trailer/clip I figured it is move required. Now I could actually get the game. But I'll wait to see what you think of it after you play through it.

Just finished Datura!

This game is definitely not for everyone. It is a puzzle-heavy, motion-controlled, psychological drama. The game only lasted about 2 hours but I probably could have finished it faster. I thought the Move controls worked pretty well although that was only after I figured out how to use them properly. The tutorial wasn't detailed at all so it took some frustrating guess and testing to feel them out. The graphics and music were fantastic and really set the tone for the entire game. I would recommend Datura to people who enjoy games based on ambience and personal interpretation similar to Limbo.

PS: If you guys decide to pick it up, feel free to ask any questions about the controls here. They can be a headache and if you're not using them properly the game will only frustrate.

I only used the Move so I can't say how well the motion controls translate to a normal controller but motion controls do help set the mood so any non-Move owner should keep that in mind.

I also forgot to mention before that the game looks fantastic in 3D.
