The wall of Japan-exclusivity has fallen, and Europe flows red with PlayStation 3s. By that, I mean the red PlayStation 3 Slims have found their way into Europe.

These PlayStation 3s were once exclusive to Japan, but Sony UK has decided to bring them over. The PlayStation 3s come with 320GB hard drives and a DualShock 3 controller, and are a lovely shade of red to boot.

All you'll need to score one of these consoles is £249.99 on Amazon, or £239.99 on Play.com. The extra £10 might be worth it if you don't want to wait an extra week for it, as Amazon's go on sale on April 27th, whereas the Play.com ones go on sale May 4th.

If red isn't your color, too bad, because the blue version of the console isn't going anywhere outside of Japan yet.

There's no word on a US release for these, but there's no region-lock on PlayStation 3 games, so... do what you think is right.

I'd love to have a red PS3, but i just sold my fat PS3 and bought a black slim.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want one of these special edition PS3's. They always look so cool but I could never justify spending so much on something I already have.
