I had the chance today to finally sit down and play a couple hours of Xenoblade Chronicles and have to say that it's looking like it will be a real rewarding experience. The game looks fantastic for a Wii title and the story and characters seem very interesting so far. I'm really looking forward to putting in a lot of time with this game. It's been a while since a Wii game has kept my attention longer than an hour or so. Anyone else playing it right now?

I don't have it, but I've heard plenty of good things. Might just be worth hooking up the Wii again sometime soon.

The more I keep hearing good things, the brain inside me wants to get it. I'd love to get this game, but I haven't played much Wii and kept telling myself that I need to focus on backlog of games lol.

To be honest, I haven't touched my wii since getting it. I need to buy some games for it, along wit this. This probably be my first game on the wii, that or probably metroid would be good.

There are some surprisingly good games on the Wii. I think after The Last Story, we probably will not see much good from the Wii.

I know, but I just haven't bother turning it on to play it. Pretty sad actually, kind of a waste to get it to be honest. I don't play games in school so I haven't touched any games since spring break. And when I did, I was trying out other games on a different consoles.

I've played quite a bit of it, and I must say, it's definitely one of the greatest RPGs I've played played recently. It sure helps me get the salty taste of FF13-2 out of my mouth :P

You didn't like FF13-2? Did you feel it was better than FF13? I still am waiting to play FF13-2. They said it improved on a lot of the things that made people hated FF13 and of course it wasn't linear yet. I personally thought 13 was fine. LInear yes, but great character development. And I am a big sucker of great cut scene and graphics. My complaints were the summons, I didn't really know what to do with them button wise. I just button smash. I read that they have multiple ending, so one of those game that should have good replay value.

I think Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 symbolized the death of Final Fantasy.

Nah, I thought FF13 was fine in itself. But this is probably the fanboy in me speaking also.

I think Final Fantasy versus will be really good. I hope it'll get released. They need to stop toying with me and release that game already. It looks great and really well done.

Depressingly I fire up my Wii only for light-gun rail shooters. I find anything deeper and more involved to be of little interest. However, Xenoblade and The Last Story are both on my hit-list. Eventually, that is. I have a backlog of so many titles on PC to cream through that I doubt it'll be soon before I turn on the rectangular white box.
